Islamabad: Fake news and conspiracy theories have exponentially increased in Pakistan regarding coronavirus pandemic in the country.

According to media reports, Islamabad administration has decided to take action against propagators of fake news about coronavirus and criminal cases will be registered against those found involved in the practice.

Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad stated that rumors have played role in spread of coronavirus in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
