Islamabad will be defended at every cost: Zardari, Nawaz, Fazal

ISLAMABAD: The three big of Ruling alliance have joined heads to foil Imran Khan long march and they have agreed Islamabad will be defended at every cost and Imran Khan will not be allowed to succeed in his designs.

The sources said former president Asif ALI Zardar has made telephonic contacts with PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif and PDM chairman Maulana Fazlur Rehman in the perspective of the prevailing political situation and Imran Khan long march and he exchanged views with them at length.

Sources told reporter the three decided to take steps to deal with Imran Khan long march. They reached consensus that federal capital will be defended at every cost. Imran Khan will not be allowed to mount Islamabad.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said the designs of Imran Khan have become clear from his statements of bloody revolution and blood shed. The leaders of his party are talking openly about coming in the long march fully armed with rifles and guns. This verified thief is out to stoke chaos in the country. We will stop him at every cost and the government will discharge its obligations.

Asif Zardari said on the occasion that Imran Khan is targeting national institutions under a plan. Imran who dubbed us thief and robber has been declared certified thief by election commission. It is essential to save Pakistan from this fitna.

Nawaz Sharif has said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has already directed interior minister Rana Sana Ullah to stop the chaos being fomented by this fitna. He makes false claim that power of people is with him.

They made it clear that the polls will be held as per schedule and appointment of army chief will be made as per constitution because this fitna wants to bring army chief of his own choice. But this decision will be made as per law and constitution.

The three had consensus on it that Imrani propaganda is being launched against the armed forces and state institutions to please the anti state elements. The nation will not stand with him in this regard.
