It has been revealed that fake permission letters are being issued for tinted glasses on the name of Interior Ministry

ISLAMABAD: The Interior Ministry has decided to start crackdown against vehicles having tinted glasses. It has been revealed that fake permission letters are being issued for tinted glasses on the name of Interior Ministry. It has also been revealed that to check the originality of the permission letters for the tinted glasses fake websites are being used. The interior ministry has decided to start the crackdown against the fraudsters issuing illegal permission letters for the tinted glasses.

 

It has been revealed that some elements use name of Ministry of Interior and use illegally tinted glasses and also run websites.

 

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior on Saturday, the Director General (DG) Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has been directed to take action against the fraudsters. The interior ministry has also issued directions to take strict action against those who illegally run websites for the mentioned purpose.

 

The statement further said fraudsters are illegally issuing fake permits by using the name of the Interior Ministry. The fraudsters are taking hefty amount for issuing the permits of the tinted glasses.

 

It has been directed in the letter issued by the interior ministry that action should be taken against those involved in committing fraud with the masses and using the name of the interior ministry. The decision to take launch crackdown has been made on the complaint of the Additional Secretary Home Department Punjab. The interior ministry has not issued any permission letter after court ban in 2013.
