KARACHI: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) and other religious parties, Sunday, announced observing a strike on Friday against the killing of Mufti Usman Yar Khan and other clerics in Karachi.

Addressing a press conference here the JUI-S, JUI-F, ASWJ members and Mufti Naeem said that it was their democratic right to hold a peaceful protest.

They called for early arrest of those involved in the killing of Mufti Usman Yar Khan.
