Khan warns Punjab govt not to obstruct PTI rally

Lahore: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan Saturday said that masses would take onto street of Lahore today (Sunday) not for him or PTI but for themselves as high prices and inflation makes life of common man miserable. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Khan warned Punjab authorities not to obstruct their rally saying that their rally would be peaceful.

He said Mall road is not property of anybody adding that PTI supporters would reach on the Mall to stage protest which is democratic right of every citizen.

Khan has said that the government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has failed to control price hike. Imran Khan said that PML-N came into power after striking a deal with the US. He said that Information Minister of Pakistan Pervaiz Rashid was behaving like spokesperson of the US State Department.

The PTI chief said that the US would not leave Afghanistan even after NATO forces pullout and it would UAV program for 10 years. Slamming the economic planning of the government, the PTI chief said that government of Sharif brothers was introducing schemes for the benefit of tax evaders that would increase burden of taxes on salaried class. He said that investors would not come to Pakistan until peace is not restored in the country.

He said that the black money could not bring peace in the country even if it was filtered through different schemes.
