Khaqan Abbasi allowed to go abroad for 15 days on his special request

ISLAMABAD: Government has allowed former Prime Minister (PM) and PML-N senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to go abroad for 15 days on his special request.

Sources said Khaqan Abbasi had made special request to government to allow him to go abroad one time besides removing his name from ECL as his sister and brother in law are suffering from Corona virus. Their health condition is not better and he wants to meet them.

According to sources Khaqan Abbasi had requested the circles which matter to allow him to go abroad for one time. Therefore, government has decided to delete his name from no fly list on humanitarian grounds.

Sources stated that Abbasi is likely to stay in London on his way to US and he is likely to meet former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif therein.

On the other hand the sources disclosed the backdoor contacts are underway between PML-N and the circles which matter and Abbasi has been allowed to go abroad due to these back door contacts.

When contacted interior ministry spokesperson said there was no substance in this news item.

However credible sources have confirmed that Abbasi has been allowed to go abroad on his special request.
