Karachi: Caretaker Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmed has said that insulting the Quran and the Prophet (peace be upon him) is unacceptable, measures are being taken to prevent insulting content on social media.

Killing of scholars and attacks on them is a very serious issue, the investigative agencies have reached the suspects involved in these incidents, very soon the names of the killers will be brought before the public.

He expressed these views while talking to the media after meeting former Reut-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Mufti Muneebur Rehman in Karachi on Saturday. The Caretaker Federal Minister said that the problems faced by the country will gradually reduce.

Ulema of the country are requested to take the nation out of despair. The primary responsibility of the government is to solve the problems of the people.

He said that the effects of inflation also affect us. But good days will come, the work has already begun.
