Korean Ambassador Suh Sangpyo shows keen interest in investment opportunities in Pakistan specially hydel power generation

ISLAMABAD: Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Suh Sangpyo called on Minister for Power Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan and Minister of State Hashin Khan Notezai on Wednesday.

 

Korean ambassador showed keen interest in investment opportunities in Pakistan specially hydel power generation. The Korean companies like KIA, Samsung have done investments in Pakistan and are looking forward to explore more avenues of cooperation.

 

Both sides agreed on accelerating the pace of development of hydel power projects by Korean companies. Such projects will not only improve Pakistan’s energy mix but also help bring the cost of power generation down.

 

Suh Sangpyo lauded Prime Minister’s commitment towards development projects during his time as Chief Minister and expressed high hopes that same will be carried forward now that he is in at the center.

 

Meanwhile Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki called on Minister for Power Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan and Minister of state Hashin Notezai on Wednesday.

 

During the meeting, Ministers lauded the long-standing relations of both the countries and reiterated the resolve of this government to further strengthen them.

 

The ambassador expressed his high hopes for the incumbent government and said people of Pakistan deserve stability and progress.

 

The leadership of both brotherly countries was determined to further enhance the bilateral ties and cooperation in diverse fields.
