KP Assembly pays rich tribute to martyred Aitzaz Hassan

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pervez Khattak has paid rich tributes to Shaheed student Aitzaz Hassan for his bravery to foil a terrorist attack on his school and sacrificed his life.

Speaking at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in Peshawar on Monday‚ he said that the government will recommend to the Federal Government to award him with Sitara Jurrat.

The Chief Minister said the provincial government has announced fifty lakh rupees for heirs of the Shaheed student and under Shaheed Package more compensation would be given to his family.

He also announced Government High School Ibrahimzai after the name of Shaheed Aitizaz Hassan.

The House also offered fateha for those who were martyred in recent terrorists’ attacks in Peshawar and Shangla.

Meanwhile‚ the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Engineer Shaukatullah laid floral wreath on behalf of the President and Prime Minister at the grave of Shaheed Aitzaz Hassan in District Hangu on Monday.

The Governor condoled with the bereaved family and expressed with them his deep sympathy and solidarity. He also conveyed messages of the President and Prime Minister to the parents of the Shaheed.

Meanwhile‚ Advisor to the Chief Minister Amjid Afridi and MPA Nighat Orakzai also condoled with the Shaheed’s family.

The Advisor announced Rs 5 million for the heirs of Aitizaz Hassan.
