LAHORE: Lahore Electricity Supply Company (LESCO) changes rules for new connections and 100% increase in demand notice fee approved for new connections, told to board of directors.

Capital cost of single phase connection reached to 7400pkr after this increase.

Demand notice of single phase meter will be of rs.1000 with new addition. Three phase meter's capital cost now is 33000pkr and applicant has to pay total of 42000pkr for demand notice.

It has been told that demand notice fee increased for new connections due to increase in material price.

Director customer services sent letter to operation circles.

Increased price will be enforced in LESCO from June 2023.
