Literate Baloch youths to be employed in Federal depts.: CM Balochistan assured centre committed to empowering Balochis

ISLAMABAD: A meeting of Federal Ministers and the Government of Balochistan would be convened to resolve financial‚ administrative and procedural issues to streamline development projects in the province.

An understanding to this effect came during meeting of Chief Minister Balochistan Dr. Abdul Malik with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar here on Monday.

The Minister said the Government accords top priority to Balochistan as it believes that the future of Pakistan lies in the development of Balochistan.

He recalled that the project for the construction of a Flyover Project on Sariab Road‚ Quetta had been approved by the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council recently.

Appreciating the financial discipline being maintained by the Balochistan Government‚ the Finance Minister said that as announced in the Federal Budget a reward of over 175 million rupees had been paid to Balochistan for showing surplus budget in its first quarter.

The Chief Minister assured the Finance Minister that the province would utilize the funds for the development of the province and the welfare of its people.

Meanwhile sources told that federal govt is mulling to appoint literate Baloch youths on 4000 vacant posts and CM Balochistan has been assured in this regard that soon a plan would be devised with the consultation of the provincial govt.

The Baloch youths would be given employment on priority basis in parliament house and federal departments.

The Baloch CM was assured that the federal govt would leave no stone unturned for the prosperity of the Baloch people and would take all measures for removing deprivation of the people of the province.
