LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange has introduced ‘The Capital Raising Programme’ under its Department of Corporate Communications to educate the potential unlisted enterprises/sectors across Pakistan.

The LSE realised the need to educate the growing business community on the benefits of listing, and in this connection the Exchange focused two key players of the capital market- the listed companies and the investors under two different wings i.e. Investors Awareness Programme and Capital Raising-Listing promotion, said the Exchange’s spokesman here Tuesday.

He said the meetings with sponsors of unlisted companies had been a valuable source of learning at both ends, adding that LSE upon the visits to the enterprises had come to know about the concerns of the sponsors pertaining to listing at stock exchange.

The LSE, he said, had been simultaneously working on the listing shyness communicated by sponsors of the enterprises to ensure that business community perceives capital markets as comfortable as at home.
