MFN status agreement to be inked with new Indian govt after polls: Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has said agreement on granting MFN status to India will be signed with new Indian government adding it does not want to take any significant bilateral decision during elections in India.

Official sources said electoral process has kicked off in India and execution of any new pact with India at this juncture of time is not appropriate.

Sources further said that cabinet meeting was not postponed due some specific reason but it was put off due to engagement of ministers. Cabinet meeting will be held on return of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to home from his Nether land trip.
