Musharraf plea for exemption in Ghazi Abdul Rashid murder case accepted

ISLAMABAD: Session Court Islamabad has accepted former president Pervez Musharraf plea seeking exemption from appearing before it in Abdul Rashid Ghazi murder case and has sought medical certificate in connection with his ailment on next hearing.

Wajid Ali, Additional Sessions Judge, Islamabad heard Abdul Rashid Ghazi murder case against Pervez Musharraf Saturday.

Ilyas Siddiqui, counsel for Pervez Musharraf told the court that his client was sick and was undergoing treatment in hospital, therefore, he could not appear in the court.

The court while ordering for presentation of medical certificate of former president on next hearing adjourned the hearing of the case till February, 1.
