DASKA/LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that the PML-N has demanded re-election in whole Daska constituency. She said that if the re-election is held the people of Daska will bury the change in the grave. She said that DC, DPO, RPO, IG Police, Chief Secretary, chief minister and government went missing on 19th February due to fog and still they are missing. She said that Imran Khan had no narrative and if he had any it has been failed in whole Pakistan but the narrative of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is being heard in whole country, adding that the narrative of Nawaz Sharif is “vote ko izzat do”. She said that 220 million people of Pakistan are looking towards Election Commission of Pakistan to arrest and lodge FIR against the vote thieves.

This she said while addressing a public gathering in Daska on Sunday. PML-N Punjab Rana Sanaullah Khan, PML-N Vice President Engineer Khurram Dastagir Khan, PML-N Vice President Mian Javed Latif, PML-N Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb, PML-N Gujranwala Division President and MNA Chaudhry Abid Raza Kotla, MNA Chaudhry Armghan Subhani, MNA Ali Zahid, Senator Parvez Rashid, Attaullah Tarar and PML-N candidate for NA-75 Daska Syeda Nosheen Iftikhar were also present on the occasion.

Maryam Nawaz said that not only the masses have come to know who are the real thieves but they have apprehended them. She said that the 20 presiding officers who went missing came together after 14 hours. She said Imran Khan should listen all will be apprehended instead all have been apprehended.

She said that the fog is also very wise because it was only present in the areas from where the 20 presiding officers were went missing, adding that boxes and Daska went missing in fog. She said that whether the mobile phones are also stop working in fog. She said that the Election Commission of Pakistan says it tried had to contact with its own officials for 14 hours but no contact became possible with them.

Maryam Nawaz said that even today instead of firing, slowing down polling, instead of making the ECP staff hostage, fleeing with the voting bags, instead of stamping votes inside the polling stations by the ministers and advisors for three hours, joining hands with the administration and police offers, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has won the election.

She said that it is being said these days “this is fog, this is Daska and Imran Khan has been caught red handed while stealing the vote of masses”. She said that the narrative of Nawaz Sharif has been reached in every home of Nowshera also. She said that it might be possible that Imran Khan will request the ECP to hold next election in fog season. She said that there was 30 percent turn out on 340 polling stations and PML-N was leading the results but when the 20 missing presiding officers were jointly arrived the polling turn out in these 20 polling stations reached 90 percent.

Maryam Nawaz said that the people of the city proved that they would “not bow down to those who stole votes.”

Speaking about PML-N worker Zeeshan who died due to firing in Daksa during the polls, Maryam said that the police have registered a case against his brother for the unrest. “PML-N members are being punished for supporting the party,” Maryam said, adding that the PTI used every tactic under the sun to derail the election that day because the PML-N was winning and the ruling party felt threatened.

“The PTI knew that it was about to face humiliation in the NA-75 constituency, therefore, its workers not only created chaos in Daska but even went to Wazirabad and Nowshera to torture PML-N voters,” she said.

“However, the people of Pakistan know how to safeguard their votes. The party which steals votes [to come into power] should be ashamed of itself,” Maryam Nawaz said while taking a jibe at the ruling PTI.

She said that the firing incident in Daska took place under the noses of PTI candidates, adding that the situation was created to terrorise the masses [and stop them from coming out to vote for PML-N].

“The people of Daska proved that they would not bow down to those who stole votes,” she said. “Those who respect the sanctity of votes defeated fear and stood up to tyranny.”

She went on to say that when PTI workers could not do anything to derail the by-polls, they tried to slow down the polling process.

“There were long queues of people standing outside polling stations because the ruling party deliberately slowed down the process,” she said, adding that when asked about the reason for the undue delay, the PTI blamed it on the heavy fog.

The PML-N leader added that when the votes were recounted, 300 of them turned out to be fake votes.

“I salute the intellectual abilities of Imran Khan, who came to power through stolen votes,” she said. “His stupidity turned the Daska election into a country-wide election as people realised that the general elections of 2018 were also rigged.”

Maryam Nawaz said that the PTI “never had a narrative of its own,” adding that it was Nawaz Sharif’s narrative of giving respect to the vote which has once again become dominant across Pakistan.

“All these people [of the PTI] cannot compete against Nawaz Sharf,” she concluded.

At the end of her speech, Maryam Nawaz also changed the slogans “mere vote pe daka na manzoor”, “mere Daska pe daka na manzoor”, “Wzirabad pe daka na manzoor”, “Election Commission pe daka na manzoor”, “mere ate pe daka, meri cheeni pe daka, mere awam pe daka na manzoor”. She said that the time has come to bury the vote thieves.

Meanwhile talking to media persons at Jati Umra prior to leaving for Daska, Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lost by-election in NA-75 Daska despite state terrorism.

Maryam Nawaz said that people of Daska fought for the democracy despite rigging in the elections and rejected sugar, gas and flour thieves. Talking about alleged disappearance of presiding officers some polling stations, the PML-N leader said “They talk about fog, was fog only in these 23 areas?”

She said that the entire nation now knows how the PTI government came to power. “I want to thank the PM for showing his reality to the public.”

She said that the chaos in Daska has proven that Imran Khan rigged the 2018 General Elections. “If we knew PTI will resort to killing people for votes, we would have given our seats to them.”

She added that after this incident, people across Pakistan have rejected the PM and his government.

Maryam Nawaz on Sunday said that the PTI-led government planned rigging through police and the administration but it failed miserably in the by-polls.
