Nation salutes Pak Army for rendering sacrifices: Khattak

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has paid glowing tributes to Pak Army for its role and sacrifices for the defence of the country saying that the nation was proud of its security forces.

He said this while talking on the occasion of the briefing given to him by the officers of Pak-Army during his Bannu visit inspecting site of the FC Bus Bomb Blast and enquiring after the health of injured Jawans (soldiers) at CMH Bannu.

Pervez Khattak termed it good omen that morale of all security forces including Pak-Army, FC and Police Jawans was so much high even in the prevalent odd times of unrest and terrorism and they were efficiently performing their duty of defending the homeland and safeguarding the people.

He deplored that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has become frontline province in this war of terrorism due to vicinity with neighbouring country Afghanistan and adjoining tribal belt that not only claimed our thousands of police and civilians but Pak-Army also rendered countless and unforgettable sacrifices.

The CM said that the govt and people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were taking these sacrifices with high esteem and also pray to Almighty Allah to drag the nation out of this difficult situation with dignity and honour and peace was restored here for good.
