ISLAMABAD: District and Sessions Court Islamabad has accepted one day exemption plea of chairman PTI in the case pertaining to non-shariah nikkah.
The case related to non-shariah nikkah of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi came up for hearing before the judge Qudrat Ullah Thursday.
The petitioner Muhammad Hanif appeared in the court. Sher Afzal Murrawat appeared in the court on behalf of chairman PTI.
The lawyers filed one day exemption plea of chairman PTI in the court.
The court accepted the exemption plea.
Lawyer Sher Afzal Murrawat has filed power of attorney in the court.
Counsel Sher Afzal told the court sessions judge decision has been challenged in high court.
He said iddat case was framed baseless and for political motives.
Judge Qudrat Ullah remarked " file the application. It is necessary to ascertain the stance of the petitioner.
