ISLAMABAD: Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that now interest based system will not be tolerated in the country. He said that the electoral reforms should be carried out with consensus of all the stakeholders prior to the holding of elections. He said that notice is not taken on the petition of the poor person but the court opens for the rich at 12:00 Am, adding that the court was opened for Dr. Shireen Mazari at 11:00 PM but the doors of the courts are closed for the poor people.
This was stated by Emir JI Pakistan Sirajul Haq while addressing a public gathering organized by JI at F-9 Park, Islamabad against inflation, unemployment and forcing implementation of the Federal Shariat Court (FSC) verdict against the interest based economic system, on Sunday. The public gathering was also addressed by Naib Emir JI Mian Muhammad Aslam, JI Member National Assembly Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali, Naib Emir JI Dr. Farid Ahmed Piracha, Emir JI North Punjab Dr. Tariq Saleem, Emir JI Islamabad Nasrullah Randhawa, Emir JI Rawalpindi Arif Shirazi, Kashif Chaudhry and others also addressing the gathering.
Sirajul Haq said that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) struggled for 23 years for the Islamic system, adding that Federal Shariat Court (FSC) has ordered the government of Pakistan to abolish interest and riba. Sirajul Haq said that today we announce that if any government, bank or institution will violate the verdict of the FSC and will file appeal against the verdict we announce war against it.
He said that interest based system will not be allowed to work in Pakistan, adding that the interest based system should be stopped in Pakistan. He said that interest based system and Pakistan could not move forward together, as interest based system is system of waging war against Almighty Allah. He said that how an Islamic state could succeed if it is adamant to wage war against Almighty Allah.
Sirajul Haq asked the government to announce interest free next budget, adding that according to a survey people in Pakistan donate Rs 40 billion daily. He said that JI will not allow the government to continue the interest based system. He said that all political parties including PML-N, PPP, PTI and JUI-F are part of the governments. Sirajul Haq requested Maulana Fazlur Rehman to support JI in its efforts of abolishing interest based system in country, adding that it was the agenda of Maulana Fazlur Rehman to implement the Islamic system if he will come into power just for one day.
Sirajul Haq said that he also appeals to Imran Khan who ruled the country during last three years and nine months on the name of State of Madina, adding that he also appeals to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and former president Asif Ali Zardari, adding that he will contact all the leaders that there is dire need to implement the decision of the FSC against interest based system in any situation. He said that Shehbaz Sharif, Nawaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari and Maulana Fazlur Rehman are working as prime ministers, adding that currently whole system is going reverse. He said that all parties have reached blind alley. He said that Imran Khan and Shehbaz Sharif are even today standing under the umbrella of establishment and both are looking towards it and taking advice from it. He said that PTI did not like to talk about the promises which it had made with the masses and instead of this they say conspiracy has been hatched against us. He said that there are four prime ministers in the country, two finance ministers and two governors in Punjab, whether this system could work, adding that there is question who has destroyed this system.
He said that prime minister and chief minister has not visited the draught hit Cholistan. He said that there is no water and electricity in Karachi and there is load shedding in whole country. He said these parties have handed over the bright Pakistan of people to darkness. Sirajul Haq said that we will make bright and prosperous Pakistan.
He said that mafias are present in all the political parties, adding that Rs 880 billion extra money was received by these mafias from the pockets of the masses in last three years. He said that Imran Khan wants to become martyr and also did not even like to be wounded but this could not happen. Sirajul Haq said that the JI has stated the movement against inflation and for the abolishing of the interest based system and it will remain continue.
