KARACHI: Opposition parties in Sindh Assembly including the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) Friday staged walk-out from assembly session.

Opposition members chanted slogans after they were not allowed to present Sindh Local Government amendment bill. The uproar started after Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani didn’t allow PML-N member Irfanullah Khan Marwat to speak. The opposition members held a parallel session of the provincial legislature outside the building and made fiery speeches against the government.
