PAC directs forensic audit of Rs3b easy loan to different individuals in previous govt

Islamabad: The Public Accounts Committee has directed a forensic audit of the issue of easy loans of three billion dollars to various companies and individuals during the previous regime.

Governor State Bank assured to provide the names of the borrowers in the in-camera meeting. A meeting of the Public Accounts Committee of the Parliament chaired by Noor Alam Khan was held in which the issue of loans of three billion dollars in the previous regime was discussed.

Noor Alam Khan said that on April 19, we told State Bank that loans of 3 billion dollars were given to 620 people. We asked for records under Article 66, which were not given.
