Pak diplomatic staff abroad perturb over govt’s orders

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani diplomats abroad have become quite perturbed over Prime Minister’s recent directives, recalling bulk of officials back home after dissolving their respective departments.

Foreign ministry had passed its directives to these diplomats, recalling them back home after approval of Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif; an order which sent ripples of disturbance among diplomats who seek some grace time for packing up.

The diplomats are of the opinion that it is difficult for the, to leave the countries of their appointment, since they had become quite ‘established over there’, with their children undergoing education.

Among those recalled from abroad include, press counsellors, attaches, commercial and labour officials, community welfare officers, assistant private secretaries, secretaries, and drivers.

The decision to recall these have been taken in view of failing economy of federation , while the diplomatic staff wants some time to wind up their issues , since any impulsive step could seriously jeopardize their setups .
