WASHINGTON: Pakistani Embassy in Washington has refuted a claim made by American gun-making company “Desert Tech” that it has turned down a fifteen million dollars deal to sell precision rifles to Pakistan.

In a statement‚ the Embassy described the Desert Tech’s claim as “without basis.”

The statement said Pakistan and the United States enjoy a productive and mutually beneficial defence partnership for decades.

This relationship has been particularly critical more recently in fighting terrorists and protecting the two peoples.

Any insinuation to the contrary is unwarranted and misguided.
