Pakistan, Saudi Arabia sign an agreement for Hajj arrangements

Jeddah: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have signed an agreement regarding Hajj arrangements this year. The agreement was signed by Religious Affairs Minister Sardar Yousaf and his Saudi counterpart Dr. Bandar al-Hajjar in Jeddah on Wednesday.

Sardar Yousuf said new Hajj policy will be formulated after the agreement. This year 143‚000 pilgrims will perform Hajj and the approval of their number and other hajj arrangements will be granted by Federal Cabinet. He said Hujjaj will stay in Saudi Arabia for forty days.

Sardar Yousuf said all out arrangements are being made to provide maximum facilities to intending pilgrims. For this purpose‚ nearby buildings with all facilities‚ will be hired.
