PDM, Imran fighting for power, says Hoti

MARDAN : Former federal minister Nawabzada Khwaja Mohammad Khan Hoti on Sunday said that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and PTI Chief Imran Khan are fighting for power, adding that people were living miserable life due to inflation.

Addressing a news conference at Mardan press club, Hoti strongly criticized the increase in petroleum products prices, calling it dropping petrol bomb on poor people.

Hoti maintained that inflation will further increase once the International Monetary Fund (IMF) visits Pakistan and settlements are made. He added that the government is imposing 600 billion additional tax on the people. Instead of reducing its expenses, the government is imposing tax on the masses which is great cruelty, he maintained.

Hoti argued that the responsibility of bringing the country to the present condition lies with the judiciary, the army and the self- interested politicians.

“Instead of decreasing their expenses the PDM has appointed a force of 150 people in the federal cabinet,” he said.
