PIA plane makes emergency landing at Sialkot airport

Sialkot: A Peshawar-bound PIA plane coming from Karachi made an emergency landing at Sialkot Airport.

The national flag carrier’s aircraft requested air traffic control for an emergency landing when pilot realised that there was a technical fault in the fuel supply of the airline .

The air control asked the pilot to land in Sialkot.

Luckily there was no fire as the fuel supply had been cut off and all the passengers remained safe during emergency landing.

KPK health minister Shoukat Yousafzai and a senator from the province were also onboard.

The PIA spokesman said that there was no fire in the engine when the plane landed. “It was a normal landing and that the passengers and the plane remained safe”, the PIA spokesman added. He said that the plane is now parked on the bay and is being inspected.
