ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated Mohsin Naqvi on assuming the office of caretaker Chief Minister Punjab saying Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has taken this decision as per law and constitution.

.We welcome ECP decision, he said this in a statement issued here Monday.

We hope all the norms of transparent, free and fair elections will be met, he added.

He tweeted that Mohsin Naqvi will fulfill his responsibility as per the requirements of the constitution.
