PM constitutes committee to decide about Pakistan cricket team participation in world cup in India

LAHORE: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has constituted a high profile committee to decide about participation of Pakistan cricket team in the 2023 ODI World Cup in India.

The committee will be headed by Foreign Minister (FM) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

The other members of committee are federal ministers Rana Sana Ullah, Azam Nazir Tarar, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Ehsan Mazari, Asad Mehmood and Amin ul Haq. Qamar Zaman Kaira and Tariq Fatmi will also be part of the committee. Heads of national security departments and foreign secretary too have been included in this high profile committee.

" whether Pakistan will participate in ICC World Cup or otherwise. Committee will evolve recommendations with regard to all the matters in connection with world cup in India and send them to PM who is pattern in chief of PCB.

Final decision whether Pakistan will participate in the world cup or otherwise will be made after the recommendations are concluded.
