PML-N and MQM ready to join hands in Sindh

Karachi: Delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Saturday met Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in Karachi for a possible alliance in Sindh Assembly.

According to reports, the main purpose of the meeting to discuss ongoing targeted operation in the metropolis.

Initially, the MQM expressed its reservation and also raised the issue of target killing and kidnapping of party workers amidst targeted operation.

But the reports said that later the MQM and Pakistan Muslim League-N discussed the political situation in Sindh and agreed to make strong opposition in the province.

Interior Minister and the MQM delegation also agreed to continue dialogue and give tough time to the provincial government.

The MQM delegation comprised on Farooq Sattar, Khalid Maqbool Siddique, Sardar Ahmed, Dr. Sagheer Ahmed and Kanwar Naveed Jamil.
