Police impound five vehicles, 30 bikes

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police during general holdup impounded five vehicles and 30 motorcycles in different police stations while ten suspects were also arrested, a spokesman said on Sunday.

According to the details SSP Islamabad Muhammad Rizwan has directed all SDPOs and SHOs to keep vigilant eye on the mischievous elements and enhance checking at pickets in different areas of the city.

Following his directions, Islamabad police conducted general hold up in various areas of the city and shifted five vehicles and 30 motorbikes in police stations.

The actual aim of this general holdup is to maintain law and order situation in the capital and to curb the criminals’ activities.

Meanwhile, Security has been put on high alert in Islamabad and high vigilance is being maintained through strict patrolling and checking at exit as well as entry points of the city.
Islamabad police also arrested 10 suspects during search operation in various areas of the city.

IGP Islamabad Sikandar Hayat and SSP Islamabad Muhammad Rizwan have appreciated this performance of police officers. The IGP has further directed to enhance security in their respective areas to curb activities of miscreants and mischievous elements.
