Police Police recovered two stolen batteries from cellular company tower
DIR LOWER::Dir Police team have recovered two stolen batteries by arresting a two-member gang committed the crime in Oach area, District Dir Lower, an official of the Police Control said here Sunday.
Police also claimed that the two-member gang who stole batteries in Oach from a cellular company tower was arrested red-handedly and recovered two large batteries and other stolen tools.
Police said that during a search operation they arrested the gang members near Khanpur Safaray where the tower is located. The gang was busy removing the batteries when Police team approached and apprehended them red-handedly on the spot.
The gang members were identified as Abdul Hasan and Badshah Hussain and from their possession the Police team recovered two heavy batteries from the vehicle which were stolen from Telenor Tower.
In this way, the Police recovered 11 different keys, one hammer, one patch, one pliers, one cutter, two picks, one back, one check meter, one grinder and other stolen goods from the vehicle. Ouch Police Station registered a case against both accused under 55 crime 380 PPC. Ouch Police Station started further investigation.
