LARKANA: Former President and Chairman PPP, Asif Ali Zardari has said that political forces had been pitted against each other through various manipulations.

Addressing a public gathering on the 6th death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto here at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, he said that there was a war going on with a mindset; “A war Mian Nawaz Sharif cannot fight single-handedly, but we would have to put on a joint front” he urged.

“Whenever politicians get embroiled in in-fighting, the sneaky cat appears on the scene; something we have to stop” he stated.

“I pray for the success of this PML-N government, and availability of one hundred billion dollars forex reserves”, he said, adding that privatization of National assets was a blunder on part of the government, which “we would continue to resist, guiding government towards a better solution”.

He also expressed his strong averseness to any ‘short-term or mid-term situations’, “nor do we relish any long marches towards Islamabad”, he avowed.

He said that Talibanization in Pakistan stemmed from poverty.
