ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) also resorted to 8-10 hours loadshedding in Islamabad and Rawalpindi and all its region under power load-management plan.

An IESCO official told that load management quota has increased due to the difference in power demand and supply. According to him the demand is 1400 megawatt against supply of 650 megawatt.

He said that under the load management plan, eight to ten hours power load shedding would be carried out in the federal capital, Rawalpindi and all IESCO region. He said that the situation is likely to improve by end of January.
