PPP tables adjournment motion in NA on closure of Pak embassy in Ireland

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has tabled an adjournment motion in National Assembly (NA) against closure of Pakistan Embassy in Ireland and attacks on PML (N) and ANP leaders.

Respected PPP members of NA Navid Qamar, Shazia Marri, Azra Afzal, Ayaz Soomro and others tabled the adjournment motion raising the issue that Pakistani community living in Ireland will face severe difficulties due to closure of embassy there.

It has been stated in motion that, Pakistanis living in Ireland sends huge amount of foreign exchange reserves in country. Decision to close the embassy there will increase sense of deprivation amongst Pakistani community.

In adjournment motion, attacks on Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leader Amir Muqam and Awami National Party (ANP) leader Mian Mushtaq have been strongly condemned also. PPP demanded in motion to immediately discuss these issues on the floor of house.
