BATTAGRAM: Former member National Assembly, Prince Nawaz Khan of Alai along with his thousands of associates announced joining PML-N after expressing full confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif and Engineer Amir Muqaam.

He made this announcement while addressing a press conference along with Advisor to Prime Minister Engineer Amir Muqaam here on Thursday. Others present on the occasion were included former federal minister Alamzeb Khan, members Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Nawabzada Wali Mohammad Khan, Saleh Mohammad Khan and Rishad Khan.

Speaking on the occasion, Advisor to Prime Minister Amir Muqaam welcomed him into the party fold and said that his joining would strengthen the party and further increase the popularity graph of the party.

Later, talking to media at the residence of former federal minister Alamzeb Khan said that the champions of bringing change within a period of 30 days and holding local bodies’ polls have miserably failed in bringing any change and so far no announcement has been made for the holding of LBs election in the province.

Criticizing the seven-month performance of the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he said that the ample proof of the failure and incompetency of the provincial government is the reign of target killing, kidnapping for ransom and broad-day light incidents of extortion.

He maintained that doctors are being kidnapped in broad day light and neither life nor property of any one is secured while Imran Khan is busy in unjustified criticism on federal government.

Engineer Amir Muqaam said that PML-N is not against negotiations with Taliban and wanted to resolve the problems through negotiations instead of bloodshed. He said that bloodshed is in the interest of no one. He said that PML-N has condemned drone attacks on every forum including Security Council of the United Nations and termed them against the national security and sovereignty.

Regarding problems of the area, he said they are making efforts for establishment of separate grid station at Battagram. He said that the people are fully aware that they had served the area in past and even serving them today.

Earlier, Prince Nawaz Khan Alai thanked Engineer Amir Muqaam and reposed complete confidence in his political acumen.
