PTI submits resolution against MQM chief Altaf Hussain

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has submitted a condemnation resolution in Punjab Assembly against the latest statement of MQM chief Altaf Hussain over formation of new provinces and partition in Pakistan.

The resolution was submitted by opposition leader Mahmoordur Rehman in Punjab Assembly secretariat here on Monday.

In its resolution, PTI stated that no one will be allowed to hatch conspiracies against Pakistan, adding that the recent address of Altaf Hussain was the beginning of a conspiracy against the country.

The petition stated that the house strongly condemns the statement of Altaf Hussain over formation of new provinces and partition of the country.

Addressing a party gathering at Aladin Park here on Sunday, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain proposed the formation of Sindh 1 for the populace considered as Sindhi by PPP and Sindh 2 for rest of the province where people belonging to other ethnicities reside.
