Rangers’ cordon off political party office just after PML-N leader killed in Karachi
Karachi: Leader of Pakistan Muslim League –Nawaz (PML-N)was gunned down here on Thursday as targeted operation continues with full hype in the metropolis.
Abdul Hameed, President of Awami Colony, has been shot dead at Khadda Market area of Korangi when he was on the way to submit its nomination papers for local bodies elections.
Just after the incident, Rangers started targeted operation in the area and cordoned off the city’s most popular political party’s office.
The deceased has been shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Saleem Zia, PML-N Sindh President, other senior leaders and workers have also reached the hospital.
