ISLAMABAD: It has been decided to build FIA immigration counters in 5 major jails across the country on the issue of return of Afghan nationals.

Foreigners without proof of residency will be sent to jail.

Sources said that the immigration authorities will take steps to deport them from the jail. The relevant police and border area police will bring the illegal Afghans across the border.

All the arrested Afghans will be sent across the border under human rights laws, sources reported

According to the sources, the police operations against illegal resident foreigners are going on in Islamabad. Another 1126 were detained, 503 people did not have any kind of documents. The Federal Police registered a case against 503 people under the Foreign Act.
