Rivers flows and reservoirs level report

The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:

Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 18300 cusecs and Outflows 8000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 11100 cusecs and Outflows 11100 cusecs, Khairabad Bridge: Inflows 17600cusecs and Outflow 17600, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 8000 cusecs and Outflows 100 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 5500 cusecs and Outflows 5500 cusecs.

Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 25700 cusecs and Outflows 25400 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows: 17100 cusecs and Outflows 15000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 13600 cusecs and Outflows 13600cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 15300 cusecs and Outflows 4000 cusecs Sukkur: Inflows 4100 cusecs and Outflows 4100 cusecs Kotri: Inflows 5300 cusecs and Outflows Nil cusecs Trimmu: Inflows 5000cusecs and Outflow 5000 cusecs Panjnad: Inflows 4000 cusecs and Outflows 4000 cusecs.

Reservoirs (Level and Storage):

Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1398 feet, present level 1496.78 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 3.045 million acre feet (MAF).

Mangla: Minimum operating level 1050 feet, present level 1121.15 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 0.817MAF.

Chashma: Minimum operating level 638.15 feet, present level 639.80 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.021MAF.

The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela, Jinnah and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
