Russian crude oil cargo is $4.209 million cheaper in international market

ISLAMABAD: Russian oil is only ten rupee cheaper in international market, this was said in report prepared by petroleum ministry.

Authorities told that 100,000 metric ton crude oil was imported whose volume was 715000 barrel.

Both Russian cargo costed almost $52.9 million and if same amount of volume was imported from international market it would have costed $57.2 million.

According to report both Russian cargo were almost $4.209 million cheaper.

Russian oil is under refining in PRL refinary.

It is said in report that during refining process 50% furnace oil, 50% petrol and diesel will be extracted. Due to lesser ratio of petrol and diesel will also affect the price.
