SC imposes fine on an accused for filing bail plea in apex court after withdrawing it from high court

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has imposed fine of Rs 10000 on an accused Muhammad Sufian for filing his bail plea in apex court after withdrawing it from high court.

The court has imposed the fine for wasting time of court.

During the hearing of the case justice Triq Masood remarked he filed the bail plea in SC after withdrawing it from high court. They withdraw the petitions from the high court and then they come to SC.

He further remarked we have already said we will not tolerate this process.

The court while imposing fine of Rs 10000 on the petitioner for wasting court’s time wrapped up the matter.
