SC nullifies decision of reinstatement of SMO Holy family
ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) while nullifying the decision of reinstatement of Senior Medical Officer (SMO) of Holy Family Dr Tahir Sharif has returned the matter to service tribunal and wrapped up it.
A three members bench of SC presided over by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial took up the matter for hearing Tuesday.
Punjab health department had sacked Dr Tahir Sharif Malik due to absence from duty and non compliance of official orders. Service Tribunal had reinstated Dr Tahir Sharif.
Health department Punjab had resorted to SC against the service tribunal decision on reinstatement of Dr Tahir Sharif.
The SC while declaring the service tribunal decision on reinstatement of Dr Tahir Sharif null and void has returned the case to service tribunal and wrapped up the matter.
