SC orders NAB to bring on record the names of real accused involved in Fizaya Housing Scheme fraud

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has directed NAB to bring to open the real name of the people who are involved in Fizaya Housing Scheme Fraud.

The court gave this order during the hearing of NAB appeals against the acquittal of the accused who are involved in Fizaya Housing Scheme Karachi fraud.

A 3-mmeber bench of SC presided over by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial took up the case for hearing Friday.

During the hearing of the case Justice Athar Minallah inquired did NAB take action against Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on the fraud in Fizaya Housing Scheme. How can PAF become involved in real state business. PAF cannot take part in real state business as per constitution. The prime accused was some one else. How the NAB arrested those who had made payments.

The CJP remarked this is correct that the element of legal capability of PAF is included in this case. If PAF is prime accused in this case then this is not only the institution which is involved in the business. NAB should bring on the record the prime accused persons and the facts of the case.

NAB prosecutor took the plea Sindh High Court (SHC) has acquitted the accused persons in Fizaya Housing Scheme fraud without security.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case for indefinite period.

NAB had arrested the accused Tanvir Ahmad and Bilal Tanvir for committing fraud with the citizens in FIzaya Housing Scheme Karachi.

The accused had obtained bail on the assurance of returning the amount they had grabbed from the citizens through fraud.

NAB has challenged in the SC the bail granted to the accused.
