ISLAMABAD: A petition has been filed in the Islamabad High Court for providing fool proof security to the former Chief Justice Iftikhar Ahmed CH.

The petition has been filed by former president Rawalpindi High court Sheikh Ahsanuddin.

Making the centre and all four provinces party the petitioner stated that the retired CJP has to address bar associations nationwide and keeping in view the country’s law and order situation providing former CJP with security is vital for continuation of independent judiciary.
