Seminar on ‘Quaid-e-Azam’s vision to be held today at AIOU

ISLAMABAD: A day-long national seminar on the topic of “Quaid-e-Azam’s Vision: A Democratic Pakistan” will be held today (Monday) in Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU).

The seminar will be organized at 10:00am at the Allama Iqbal Open University’s main campus.

Some important official dignitaries have been invited to participate in the event. The invitees include Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Pervaiz Rashid and Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal. Vice-Chancellor, AIOU Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahmed Sangi will preside over the event.

AIOU has chalked-out a three-day plan to celebrate 137th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah that includes holding of a media seminar and symposium on Quaid’s vision about a democratic Pakistan.

The celebrations will start today (Monday December 23) with the holding of a day-long national seminar on the topic of “Quaid-e-Azam’s Vision: A Democratic Pakistan”.

Department of Mass Communication, AIOU will hold a seminar on ‘Quaid-e-Azam and Responsible Media’ on December 24.
The Chairman, Pakistan Press Council, Justice (Retd) Raja Muhammad Shafqat Khan Abbasi will be the Chief Guest on the occasion. Notable journalists from print and electronic media have been invited to address the seminar.

Another day-long event has also been organized by the Department of History on December 25 that will include speeches’ contest among the students besides presentation of tableau and national songs.
