Separate queue for ladies at CNG stations demanded

RAWALPINDI: Women have demanded of the government and CNG Association to allow them to form separate queue during the process of filling gas in their vehicles at CNG stations.

The women who drive their vehicles complained that they are meted out inhuman and unethical treatment at the hands of workers engaged in filling gas in the vehicles at CNG stations

They have to wait for hours in the queue overwhelmingly dominated by male drivers and owners of cars and wagons. When our turn comes in the queue of males, we have to face unjust and uncivilized behaviour from CNG filling workers who start arguing with us for no reason only to satisfy their ego and whim.

This way we become too late in reaching our offices and sometimes we are late by 3 to 4 hours, said a group of female car owners. They demanded that orders be issued to CNG stations to make separate queue of ladies for filling gas.
