KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) has imposed fine of Rs 10000 on secretary local bodies.

The petition on controlling price of essential commodities came up for hearing in SHC Tuesday.

Justice Irfan Saadat remarked if secretary bodies does not appear on next hearing then we will issue warrant as well.

The court remarked the federal and provincial governments should tell what progress has been made on establishment of pricing courts.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till October 12.
