ISLAMABAD : Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senior Vice President Dr. Shireen M. Mazari said that government and Speaker National Assembly was playing politics and deliberately causing confusion on resignations of PTI MNAs, as none of them received any pay after mid-April.

Dr. Shireen Mazari, in a statement issued here on Thursday, said that Speaker NA was playing politics on resignations. He said: “For the record and information of dispensers of Justice, I have checked with a no of PTI MNAs who had resigned and none of them received any pay after mid-April.”

She said that meanwhile Speaker accepted 11 resignations without reaffirming so de facto validated.

Dr. Mazari said: “Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri ruling of acceptance of all resignations - especially since pays were not being given either.” Therefore, she stated that in principle all resignations effectively stand validated but imported government and Speaker National Assembly were deliberately causing confusion and spreading it to SC also.

Reacting over Faryal’s acquittal, she said that all part of the grand NRO2 design to whitewash the political mafias while targeting PTI ad nauseum especially Chairman Imran Khan because all the regime change conspirators know in fair and free elections Imran Khan will sweep the polls. She went on to say that ECP bias revealed with each passing day.
