SIC, MWM announce to form patriot alliance

ISLAMABAD: Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) and Majlis-e-Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen (MWM) Sunday announced to form patriot alliance.

Allama Nasir Abbas and Sahibzada Hamid Raza asked the government to differentiate between patriot and traitor and operation should be started against terrorists instead of holding dialogue with Taliban.

The convention held in D-Chowk opposite National Assembly as government did not allow holding convention in convention centre.

They vowed to save country from terrorists and said that rulers could not stop them.
Representatives of Sunni and Shia sects announced to hold big procession in Karachi on January 12.

They also announced to demonstrate coffin-wrapped protest in federal capital against federal and Punjab governments soon.

Senator Faisal Raza Abdi has said that terrorists around the world are enemies of Pak-army, adding that he has been victimised due to his love for country.

Chairman SIC, Sahibzada Hamid Raza criticising interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan termed him a representative of Taliban, heirs of martyrs have been left in line, he added.

Talking about 12 January meeting, he dared the government to stop the protestors if it can.
Raza denied solely to accept any peace deal with Taliban and said that it would not be allowed at any cost.

Chief of MWM, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jaffri said that Eid-Milad-un-Nabi would be observed respectfully across the country this year and the biggest event in this regard would be held in Gilgit-Baltistan.

He declared Taliban race of disloyals, enemies of Islam, country and humanity and ruled out any possibility of dialogue with them.

Deputy Secretary MWM, Allama Amin Shaheedi, Deputy Secretary SIC Tariq Mehboob, chairman All Hindu Alliance Movement Haroon Sarbadyal, Sardar Chirat Jeet Singh of Sikh community, Sheikh Salah-ud-Din, Pir Atiq-ur-Rehman and Sadia Raye also addressed the gathering.
