Special cell for human rights set up at presidency

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has said that a special cell has been established in the presidency for protection of human rights.

He was talking to Chairman of Ansar Burney Trust Ansar Burney in Islamabad.

They discussed matters relating to human and civil rights.

Earlier in an interview‚ President Mamnoon Hussain expressed the confidence that the government‚ army and the masses would unanimously overcome the menace of terrorism.

He said elimination of terrorism is an important issue of national security.

He said the sacrifices of the army and the nation would not go to waste against terrorism.

The President urged the Ulema to openly spread the message of peace and fraternity during the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
