RAWALPINDI: Special court established under official secret act has issued order in respect of Friday hearing of cipher case and appointed state defence counsels for PTI f0under Imran Khan and former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi;In the order issued by judge Abual Hasnat Mohammad Zulqarnain it was said that no senior lawyer appeared in the court from the side of accused. The hearing was started again at 1230 hours but no senior lawyer appeared.According to the order several opportunities were provided to the lawyers of the accused keeping in view facts and situation. No option is left before the court except appointing defence counsel.It was said in the court's orders list of the lawyers has been summoned through E-Mail to appoint counsel.Upon it reply from the office of Advocate General (AG) Islamabad has been given.According to order AG Islamabad has provided the name of competent lawyers. Now they will represent the case of the accused PTI founder and Shah Mehmood Qureshi.As per order Malik Abdul Rehman has been appointed state defence counsel for Imran Khan and Hazrat Younis for Shah Mehmood Qureshi.Defence counsels will cross question the witnesses on January 27.
